A message shared by Darren Jones reports that former RAF launch 2748 is now lying on the south yard shore in very poor condition after earlier restoration work.

The appeal asks whether anyone can help establish contact with the current owner, as a potential interested party may be willing to consider rescuing, repairing, and completing the project.

A later update states that, with help from the MoD marine section, Darren was advised to contact the King\'s Harbour Master Devonport. The update also says the vessel reportedly broke mooring in a storm, went adrift in Plymouth Sound, and was towed in by the Royal Navy to her present location.

If the current owner sees this, please make contact via the Spitfires of the Sea community thread.
