WVA is now an Approved Activity Provider for Duke of Edinburgh Skills at Bronze, Silver and Gold. Parents can sign up now for the online programme.

We are pleased to confirm that we are now an Approved Activity Provider (AAP) for Duke of Edinburgh Skills at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.

Our online Sea Skills programme is built around WW2 maritime operations and practical maritime heritage learning. Course material includes coastal forces operations, small craft roles, navigation fundamentals, shipboard communication, wartime service history, and modern preservation skills that connect students with real historic vessels and records.

Bronze offer:
- 1 hour per week
- 13 weeks

- free to access

Silver and Gold pathways build on the same WW2 maritime operations foundation with deeper independent research, practical interpretation tasks, and structured evidence suitable for DofE Skills progression.
